It is our dream that Dream School International will open with action plans, teachers, and facilitates that will be on the cutting edge of modern approaches to education. We will hire teachers who come from diverse backgrounds, have diverse interests and experiences, and who will all share a desire to make Dream School a nation leading school in its approach to education.
All of our teachers will attend workshops and lectures in the months prior to our opening in order to make sure everyone is on the same page for methods of approach, lesson planning, teaching, and assessment. Training sessions will take place in which teachers will have a chance to use the new technology that will be installed in the classrooms and experts will help them to plan lessons that maximize the effects of the technology. We will create a collaborative working environment where lessons are planned in teams and across curriculums.
As for our students, they can expect the best facilities, the most prepared teachers, and the most thoroughly and purposefully designed lessons currently being offered in American high schools. Our school will be an environment that welcomes students with varying learning needs, and we will have programs in place to assist those with special needs and those in the gifted range to accelerate their learning and maximize their academic abilities. We will use a learner based approach where both independent and collaborative work will be encouraged.
Students will all attend training sessions from the first day of school that will address issues of bullying and team building so that our students will attend school in an environment that is accepting and welcoming of all kinds of students and all kinds of learning needs. It is our belief that, through all of these methods, Dream School International will produce graduates who will become productive adults and highly achieving members of society.
