As our charter school will be located in the state of New Jersey, we will use the New Jersey core curriculum standards as our basis for lesson content.These standards can be found at: http://www.state.nj.us/education/cccs/.
Though my task within the school will be that of a trustee member, I will be working particularly closely with the English department to ensure that these standards are met for all grade levels within the English department. At Dream School International, all of our teachers will be provided with the tools they need to succeed in teaching core standards within their discipline. Our students will all graduate having acheived these standards in meaningful ways that demonstrate that they have learned all of the skills that need to have learned in order to pursue their dreams in the future.
